Today I went for a great walk, did a costal walk and walked up to the treaty grounds and explored all the historical spots .

The Waitangi Treaty Grounds, overlooking the Bay of Islands, is New Zealand's pre-eminent historic site.

It was here on February 6th, 1840, that the Treaty of Waitangi was first signed between Maori and the British Crown.

I can't believe I am leaving in a few hours for the first part of my journey. I can't believe how fast the time has gone this summer and how much my life has changed this year.

I never would have dreamed that I would have gone through soo many changes in my personal and business life, and that is just the beginning as I will change, learn, experience and discover sooo much more of myself and the world on this adventure.

I think in a few weeks, after I have gone through 4 or 5 borders and paperwork to go along with the border crossing I will feel like

I have found out that I enjoy wathcing Lacrosse games, I went to my First Toronto Rock game and was hooked. My Friends brother is the goalie and after a wonderful time with the team, he is retiring.

New Running Shoes

I killed my last pair of running shoes and have for the last month been putting off going ot buy a new pair. I had every excuse in the book. Then my ankle starting bothering me , and my handy trainer gave me the you have to go buy new shoes, and me I know, I Know. Then started to hurt more, thenoff to my chiro - who is the bomb, had the same response. So much that on monday he gave me the why havnet you got a new pair of shoes talk.

So this morning on my walk to work I popped into the Running store in town.

Walk - Run - Ride, and bought a fancy new pair of shoes . Terry was great, we chatted as I tried on different shoes and he mumbled trying to find my size in the one he was for sure would be a go. Here is his site wonderful shop full of goddies, even bringinn in buffs for me yipppppeeeee.

Well, I took a week off, for a bunch of reasons, but today I was back at working with Kendra - running.

I feel good and happy to be back into the groove of things. One day - HAHAHA, Kendra get up off the floor- I can only hope to run for a quarter of one of Kendra's runs. As she shows up every week, with more positive support and patience than any human I have ever met and she is out there running, snowshoeing , cycling, cross fit, every day, regardless of the weather, her broken body - how stiff she is or her work life no excuse apply to her.

She is unbelievable and inspires me, where I can find so many reason not to step a foot on the treadmill most morning, she workouts with a smile and often a headlamp. So if you ever get a chance to see my Berry , look at my wallpaper, I get people asking who is that cray women in the swamp, yes a cold, dirty messy swamp.

I just smile and say Kendra.

I am sick, crazy eh. Was teaching a class on friday and was feeling little under the weather, went home and took a bunch of vitamin C, Cold FX, Oil of Orgeno and advil, and passed out. Today I am offical sick, and everything that goes with. I am praying that my voice holds out as I am teaching sunday. Wish me luck.

On a happier note, I cant wait for my close friend Vanessa to visit me, she is on her way to cold canada on monday for three weeks yippppeeeee.

I am off to make a cup of hot tea and chill in the store till 5pm, then off to have a hot bath and rest.
